Sandoval Represents Oregon Law and Oregon MBA at 2026 NCAA Track and Field Championships
Hayward Field hosts the nation's top collegiate athletes June 10-13 in Eugene
Addison Sandoval, a 2026 J.D./M.B.A. graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law and the Lundquist College of Business, attended the 2026 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field this week, joining athletes from across the country as the nation’s top collegiate programs competed for national titles June 10 through 13.
The four-day meet, the 17th NCAA outdoor championships hosted in Oregon, featured 42 events across the men’s and women’s competitions. Hayward Field sits across the street from the Knight Law Center, where Sandoval completed his legal studies as part of the his concurrent degree program. The venue was a fixture of his years in Eugene… and a fitting place to close them.
“The real purpose of running isn’t to win a race. It’s to test the limits of the human heart,” legendary Oregon coach and Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman once said. For Sandoval, who sits for the July 2026 Oregon bar examination, the sentiment carries beyond the oval.
Sandoval, a first-generation graduate, was named a 2026 UO 25 Ducks honoree and selected to deliver the Graduate Reflection address at the inaugural ¡Sí, se pudo! Latiné Grad Celebration at the Erb Memorial Union on June 14.
